Set up in 1965, our client is headquartered in USA and has a location in Ireland and many other locations across the world. There are 9,200 people currently employed worldwide by our client.
In 2011 our client engaged Olas to help with training their purchasing and stores departments on SAP with the aim of bringing the “big picture” to all involved in the process. In 2012, this was extended to include the dispatch team.
Olas Approach to the Project
Initially, Olas conducted an analysis to ascertain how the teams interacted with each other and how they completed transactions on SAP from which we compiled a Gap Analysis document. From there we developed course outlines, training material and then delivered a 3-day training session and a follow on 2-day training session. The feedback from the Stores Manager was that the training completely transformed the department.
