| | Ruairi Boland, Managing Director | | | Ruairi graduated from Dublin City University (DCU) with a Bachelors degree in 1989 and received his Diploma in Financial Management from ACCA in 2003. He joined Assima plc in 2008 having previously worked in USA, UK and Ireland. In his management roles in UK based telecoms and technology multinationals he has an IT Director’s perspective on value.
He took part in setting up Cap Gemini’s consultancy division in 1996 and has consulted with organisations including HM Treasury (UK), Bank of Ireland, AIB, Sustainable Energy Ireland, Irish Taxation Institute, and ESB. |

| | Conor MacManus, Director | | | Technical Director, Conor MacManus holds an MSc in Computer Science from Griffith College Dublin and a BSc Eng in Structural Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. Conor has 17 years commercial experience supplying professional services to Ireland’s largest FMCG and food & drink companies, financial services institutions and government bodies including the HSE.
Conor has managed various software development and data migration projects. He also provides design and development services in the areas of VB, VBA, data extraction and reporting services for SAP, and designs and develops with a variety of database types (MS Access, MySQL, MS SQL & Oracle).

| | Eric Plunkett, Director | | | Eric is Ireland’s foremost SAP training professional. An Economics graduate, commenced his career in the manufacturing (warehouse and distribution) and then spent 4 years specialising in the configuration and implementation of SAP and in Change Management and Training Strategies in Ireland and Australia.
Eric joined OlasIT in 2001 and has led SAP End User training projects for Irish and international organizations. He also delivers SAP curriculum courses at the OlasIT training centre.
Eric holds a PMP qualification in Project Management and also delivers the ‘Train the Trainer’ course. He has also performed roles on non-SAP projects such as Project Coordinator of a Basle 2 Banking project and Test Manager on the implementation of a public information portal for the Public Sector. | | | | |

| | Ailish O'Connor, Director | | | Ailish is a long standing member of the OlasIT team and originally qualified as systems programmer. Since then she has also developed expertise in the training side of the business completing a National Diploma in Business Studies (Training and Development).
She is a director of the company and runs the Training department of OlasIT. She has extensive experience over the past 20 years in design and delivery of a wide range of training programmes across many products including the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio and Visual Basic for Applications. Ailish acts as project manager and client liaison contact for our major training contracts. She is also involved in the design and development of document standards including templates in the Office Suite. She is also involved in the development of Microsoft Excel systems.
Ailish is the author of the OlasIT ECDL workbook. This workbook has been used as the training material for in-house ECDL programmes in Diageo, Irish Management Institute, Enterprise Ireland and Leo Pharma amongst others. It is approved by the ECDL Foundation and is sold in Ireland, UK, Asia, Dubai and South Africa.
Ailish is a Member of Irish Institute of Training & Development, a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants in Ireland and a Microsoft Master Instructor. |

Role Description • Become the SAP expert for a small Olas customer in Dublin, and the principle liaison with overseas head office (Europe).
Responsibilities • Train end-users over time to become self-sufficient. • Manage the day-to-day running of SAP Finance, guiding and supporting the (small) teams of users which include outsourced functions. • Engage with senior management in identifying, specifying, developing, and testing new reports and Business Intelligence projects. • Engage with senior management on possible integrations with suppliers, negotiate agreements and implement.

Description/Responsibilities Area of activity in which placement is offered: development and systems Analysis. Participants will gain experience in: software development, responding to written and verbal requirements, develop applications or macros.
The role will be predominantly office based at our friendly Stillorgan software development and training centre in South County Dublin.
Minimum Qualifications Work Experience: A person with 2 years experience is desirable/preferred. Education: Your qualification should ideally be in software development or information technology, but other qualifications and some software experience may be sufficient. Microsoft Tools: Good knowledge of Microsoft Tools. Communication Skills: You will be a skilled communicator and have good layout skills and be web savvy.
Characteristics of the Right Person You will be driven, ambitious, meticulous and disciplined. You are mature enough to balance requests from colleagues with the needs of your own targets, and manage colleague’s expectations.
