Manipulating Data from an ERP System to MS Excel
Weekly downloads from the customer’s ERP system are used to analyse financial data. To increase efficiency and to enhance the standard of reporting there was a requirement to use MS Excel Data features and pivot tables. OlasIT developed a training programme which used live data and projects. Walk the floor sessions were scheduled after the training to ensure that the knowledge was transferred and participants were applying the knowledge effectively and efficiently.
The customer reported that following the assignment the exercise was now taking 30 minutes per week as opposed to 5 hours per week. |
Migration to a new Email System
A large manufacturing company was moving from an outdated email application to MS Outlook. Corporate guidelines regarding email standards were also coming on stream. Through consultation with the customer, OlasIT developed a customised training programme which covered the migration to the new email application, new features and addressed the corporate email guidelines. Pilot programmes were run to further enhance and amend the content. The training was rolled out to the entire company with post training walk the floor sessions scheduled to support the migration.
The customer reported a huge enthusiasm for the new product and a welcome embracing of the new corporate email guidelines. |
