| PLM320 - Work Clearance Management |
Maintenance work on technical objects, such as inspections, preventive maintenance or repairs, can only be performed once all necessary measures to ensure a safe working environment have been implemented. These may include lockout/tagout, fire protection measures or even radiation protection.
In lockout/tagout, for example, technical objects are isolated electrically or separated mechanically from other parts of the technical system while maintenance work or tests are performed. The work can then be carried out safely.
PLM320 teaches attendees to use the SAP Work Clearance Management (PM-WCM) component to control and monitor safety measures. Maintenance may then be performed effectively while ensuring safe working conditions for your employees and adherence to all relevant legal, in-house and environmental protection regulations.
This 3-day course is recommended for project team leaders and members, and also for consultants preparing to implement a WCM solution. Previous knowledge of basic maintenance practices is recommended. |

| PLM322 - Capacity Planning and Scheduling in Maintenance Projects |
This course explains how to manage complex maintenance projects such as shutdown and turnaround projects using SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP).
If an organisation needs to schedule and perform extensive maintenance or repair work, it needs to ensure that, as well as planning the work, it is able to complete it within the planned time and cost limits, and also within the constraints of available capacity. At the same time it must be possible to manage the project flexibly in order to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and changes.
PLM322 explains how to manage complex maintenance projects, including shut-down and turn-around projects, using SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The course focuses on scheduling and capacity planning using the Project System and Enterprise Asset Management (Plant Maintenance). It covers all relevant processes from work identification, planning and budgeting through to scheduling, capacity planning, approval, reaction to changes, completion and analysis.
This 3-day course is recommended for project team leaders and members responsible for managing complex maintenance projects, and also for consultants preparing to work in this environment. Previous knowledge of project management and maintenance practices is recommended
