This course is aimed at existing Microsoft Word users who wish to be able to create more professional looking documents, create professional looking documents, create professional looking forms and wish to increase their knowledge of more advanced Word features.


Participants should be existing users of Microsoft Word who can create edit, format text documents. They should be able to use tables and basic page layouts. Ideally, they will have completed the Microsoft Word introduction and /or Microsoft Word intermediate programme.


Having attended this course, participants will be able to:

  • Create, edit, manipulate, navigate text documents
  • Use spell checker, thesaurus and grammar checker
  • Create professional documents using Quickparts, Styles and Text formatting
  • Create bullet and numbered lists
  • Use tabs and create indented paragraphs
  • Create basic tables
  • Use Page Layout features for page numbering/orientation/pages size etc.
