Have you checked out the new Planner App for Microsoft Office 365? You’ll be organised before you know it!
The New Planner App for Microsoft Office 365
This handy new app can help you and your team organise tasks, to do lists and files and provide a dashboard to report on progress.
Part of the Microsoft Office 365 productivity apps suite, the Planner App provides free, easy to use, project management functionality without the financial costs associated with other products such as Microsoft Project.
Tasks can be displayed on cards or in a calendar view, can be filtered by user, due date, late, among other options, making it easy to keep abreast of what is happening and when. A centralised hub provides access to all the plans you have been added to, while choosing My Tasks and the Charts option, provides a great overview of the current status of tasks in a nice, easy to read dashboard:
And to help even more, plans can be linked to your outlook calendar to keep you up to date with any items that need to be addressed. Simply open the plan in planner, click the three dots at the top, and choose Add plan to Outlook calendar – couldn’t be easier:
Or go one step further and publish the calendar so all of the team can view the tasks with an iCalendar feed:
Finding the Planner App is easy, simply click on the Apps button in Microsoft Office 365 and choose Planner from the list of apps displayed. You will notice that there is a wide variety of useful apps available – and this list is being added to all the time. So, why not check out the latest apps, from time to time?
