Power BI is a Microsoft product that allows for the creation of powerful, interactive visualizations using business intelligence. This training course will teach participants how to create highly interactive and sophisticated dashboards using Power BI.

This introduction level Microsoft Power BI training course is aimed at experienced Excel users who wish to use the Power BI interface to create their own reports and dashboards.


No previous knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is required, however, participants should be experienced users of Excel. They should be able to create, edit and manipulate spreadsheets containing formulae and functions. They should also be able to create charts and pivot tables. Ideally they should have completed the Excel Introduction and / or Excel Intermediate training course.


Having completed this course, participants will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI which will enable them to create interactive visualizations and business intelligence capabilities within their own organisations.
